Getting Missing MySQL ODBC Driver error message, but driver is installed

Just today upgraded to TDP 5.5 and TIC 5.5 When creating a cross-connect query involving tables from SQL Server, Excel, and TIC, receiving this error message: "Missing MYSQL ODBC Driver" However, the 5.5 installs did create such ODBC drivers and I can see them in the ODBC administrator.
Cause

When creating a cross-connect query involving tables from SQL Server, Excel, and TIC, receiving this error message:

"Missing MYSQL ODBC Driver"

Resolution

WORKAROUND

Go to Tools > Options > Database > MySQL
Choose “MySQL ODBC 5.3 (ToadDataPoint5.4) (64 bit)“ or any other 5.3 version
Click ok and try to make a cross-connection in the Query Builder between a TIC object and an object from any other data source.
Run a query.
Get the results without an error
