Mart Admin Console Cannot Provide a Secure Connection (4344131)

Error Message:

When connecting to Mart, the browser reports:

Tomcat reports the following error:

INFO: Error parsing HTTP request header

Note: further occurrences of HTTP request parsing errors will be logged at DEBUG level.

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid character found in method name. HTTP method names must be tokens

Symptoms:

This error appears when connecting to the Mart Administration console when HTTPS is not enabled.

Resolution

• To To resolve this issue please first check if Mart should be accessible over SSL. If not using SSL, mart should be accessed over http: http://<MartServer>:18170/MartAdmin

          Otherwise, to enable SSL, please follow the steps described here.
