How to Create and Assign a Role in BUP 10.1

Please take the following steps to create a custom role and assign it to an existing user....

Steps:

• Login to BUP as an Admin user (Administrator/ Administrator by default)
• Click the icon in the top right and select Administration

• Click Manage Roles

• Click the + icon to create a Role

• Give the Role a name and click the + icon to add abilities. In the text field you can add each category an end user should see…

• Click Save
• Return to the Administration Page, Click Manage Users

• Click a Username

• Add the role to the user and save

***Note that the user must exist in the UI before a role can be assigned.
