When viewing the LICENSE COUNT and the SYSTEM INVENTORY COUNT in the K2000 Appliance, the numbers do not match up to the same value or equal amount.
EXAMPLE:
(From the "License Summary" Screen) 1400 Licenses with 1302 Used Seats
(Observing the "System Inventory" Results) It displays 1191 Systems
*This provides a mismatched difference of 111 Systems (1302 - 1191 = 111)
There are no specific causes or concerns related specifically to this. The discrepancies could have occurred over time as the appliance environment updated or changed.
Perform This Step:
- Clear all the nodes from the System Inventory and determine if it returns to "0"?
If the value does not return to "0" please open a ticket with KACE Technical Support for assistance. There may be "stale" data in the MySQL Tables that can only be cleaned up by KACE Technical Support.
If the issue is related to "stale" data, KACE Technical Support has many options to work with you via tether (or other means) to get the results to a matching level and not impact your production or health of the appliance.
