All gatherings are failing when trying to store to the database with the following error:
UpdateSettings Exception EOleException Source:Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Message:OLE error 8007000E
MessageStats is using an MSDE database.
PNEVController1BeforeInstallProvider Exception EOleSysError Message:Unspecified error -
Resolution
Please try re-installing either MSDE or SQL 2000 and confirm the console will connect to the Database. Now try a gathering either interactive or automated to see if the error has been resolved.
Post reinstall of MSDE or SQL 2000, if the error is still seen, please download the attached SQL file and run in Query Analyzer against the MessageStats Database. -
