Very high CPU load (usage) on the server
One of the reasons might be the problem with selecting from x$ksmsp. This query should be disabled if the database is 64bit.
To disable this query for that database, you can use the Overhead settings by clicking Custom, then setting < SGA storage summary > to < Do not refresh data in this category>.
To disable the query completely for all databases, you can simply rename the file sqlSharedPoolMemoryStatus.dat in C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Plug-ins\SoO to something else.
Once this query is disabled the Spotlight process should not be consuming high CPU on the server.
If you are still having a problem after that, we would need an Oracle trace to determine what other query was causing a problem (10046 trace)
