Spotlight Enterprise has raised an alarm:
This is just an informative warning. When there are no connection issues, the data goes directly to Playback and Spotlight Statistics Repository databases. The Diagnostic Server uses local storage only when Playback or Spotlight Statistics Repository Database connection is in an outage, so that we can avoid historical data loss in the repositories.
The explanation of the alarm is as follows.
In the event of a disconnect of some sort, Spotlight has a fail safe built in to write to a flat file first, and to the database later. This message warns you that Playback / Spotlight Statistics Repository database is not only unavailable, but the maximum size of our allowed flat file storage is also being reached (we have been quietly collecting it, but the reason that this exists needs to be attended to).
Once the connection has been established, we resume writing to the database by converting the .dat files into insert statements so that there will be no data gaps in your playback, or statistics repository history
