Authorship Metadata is not getting preserved for blocked/deleted users in SharePoint Online, when the user is not permanently removed from Active Directory.- Author/Editor fields end up with SharePoint\System in SPO- The CreatedBy/ModifiedBy fields will end up as SharePoint\System.- The PersonOrGroup field will be left blank -
Cause
This is an acknowledged issue in Content Matrix. -
Resolution
Our development team is aware of this issue and is working towards a solution in a future release of Content Matrix.
