Is it possible to configure the port number for connection if a user is on a secure network with a firewall?
WORKAROUND
To make a connection with Toad specifying a particular port that the server is set up on, you would type in either the server name or IP address followed by ",<port number>" (for example, if you wanted to connect to the default port of 1433).
Toad for SQL Server v2.0. does not have functionality to configure the port.
