How can I migrate the user settings from the Trial to the Commercial version? (4335652)

How can I migrate or transfer the Toad for SQL Server user settings from the Trial to the Commercial version?

The Toad settings are stored in the Apps Data folder:

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USER>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for SQL Server Trial\

-OR-

Vista or 7:

C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for SQL Server Trial\

The folder can also be accessed by:

1. Log in Toad and go to Help|About
2. Click Application Data Directory link, you should have the folder open

To migrate the settings from the trial to the commercial version please follow the steps below:

1. Make a backup of this folder before un-installing the trial version.
2. Then install the commercial version and apply the commercial license key.
3. Upon the initial login, you  would be asked to migrate the settings. Select yes and the settings from the trial will be migrated.
