Blocking session SQL text not displayed
Description

After upgrading Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise to Version 11.6, the "Session SQL" information does no appear in the Blocking window anymore
Resolution

WORKAROUND

If using Spotlight 11.6.0 apply patch file:

1. Login to the machine where Spotlight Diagnostic Server is installed and stop Diagnostic Server services

2. Go to C:\Program Files\Dell or Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Procedure\

4. Move SQLServer_SpotLight-SQLBlockingList.xml file outside of this path such as Desktop

5. Copy and paste attached file to the above subdirectory

6. Open Windows Services and restart Spotlight Diagnostic Server services.

STATUS

Issue fixed in version 11.6.2. The latest version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise can be downloaded at: https://support.quest.com/spotlight-on-sql-server-enterprise/download-new-releases
