When turning on auditing for mailboxes it caused the tracking logs for the last 7 days to be processed in the automated gathering that night. This slowed down performance for the automated gathering. Is there any way to configure the gathering to not process the entire 7 days worth of logs again and to only gather the mailbox auditing data.
The workaround for this is to perform an Interactive gathering for the last 7 days, after enabling mailbox auditing. The Interactive gathering will only gather the required information from the logs and these logs will not be included in the automated gathering that occurs that night.
