Does Spotlight have the ability to automate reports? For example run them and automatically save (4333518)

We would like the ability to customize the "database growth" report to run on a selection of servers and certain databases and then produce a report that is automatically exported to a location

If you have a SQL Server Reporting Services instance please add this report to that server. Reporting Services includes all of this sort of functionality in a consistent manner that it is much more usable than any solution we could provide. The RDL files for doing this are in your installation dir for the Spotlight client under “Spotlight on SQL Server\Plug-ins\Trending\Reports\Web Reports 2008”
There are no plans to implement this feature .The reason is that it is better to use SQL Server Reporting Services to get the information.
The Trending views are more designed for user interaction, you can zoom on charts, filter grids and things, which you can’t do with a report.
