Connection Window hangs and freezes when reopening this window. (4332329)

Toad is opened and  a connection to a Database  is made. The Connection window hangs, but it is possible to work with the Database  (This window is in the background while working in Toad) .  

If  another connection is made  via Connection window,  both  the Connection window and  Toad freeze.    It's only possible to kill Toad via Task Manager.

Instead of opening the connection via the Connection window, use one of the following

1.  Select one of the recently opened connections  in the  down down menu of the New Connection icon.
OR
2. Select Session | New Connection menu option.
