Error: Cannot update license. Please supply a valid license or contact us.
 

1. Ensure you have the correct license for your version of MessageStats. A 6.x license cannot be used with MessageStats 7.x and a 7.x license cannot be used with MessageStats 6.x. If the version of the license key file is incorrect please contact Licensing using the Licensing Assistance page: https://support.quest.com/licensing-assistance or by through email:

   license@quest.com

   . To view the version in the license key file:
    - Open the license key file using Notepad
    - The "Version = x.x" line is the version of your license key file 
2. Apply the Licence file while being logged into the MessageStats server as the MessageStats service account.

Note: Also try turning of User Account Control or Opening the MessageStats console by right clicking and selecting "Run As Administrator" and then apply your license file.
