How to Upgrade the Task Execution Server? (4329090)

Log on to your system using local administrative privileges.

The account must be a member of the local administrator group on the server.

1. Double-click the autorun.exe file and select the Install tab.

2. In the Install tab, click Quest MessageStats.

3. In the Install wizard welcome page, click Next.

4. Read the license agreement and select the I accept the license agreement check box and click Next.

You must select the check box to activate the Next button.

5. Click Next to accept the default installation folder.

6. Choose MessageStats Server | select  MMC Client Console | choose  Entire feature will be unavailable

7. Choose MessageStats Server | select Scheduler Service | choose  Entire feature will be unavailable

8. Do the same above steps for Database and Reports

9 . Enter the MessageStats Report Server name and Scheduler Service Server name.

10.Follow the steps on the screen and click finish.
