Data Deduplication is a technique for reducing the amount of storage space an organization needs to save its data, which is a new feature in Windows 2012. Does Secure Copy Support Windows 2012 feature Data Deduplication?
Resolution
Secure Copy version 7.1 is Data Deduplication aware, and has improved handling by ignoring the (SVI) System Volume Information folder.
Previous versions of Secure Copy do not support the Data Deduplication feature.
