NM: Connectivity Tester Error: Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client (4328626)

Issue

We receive the following error when running the Migration Worker Connectivity Tester:

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client

We have Outlook set as the default mail program. What is the issue?

Solution

Notes Migrator does not support x64 versions of Outlook. Please install Outlook x86 version per our product requirements documents

Apply current patch level
Delete all MAPI profiles
Configure Outlook with new MAPI profile
