This error is displayed on a Windows 7 machine when opening a message after a search of PST files in Recovery Manager for Exchange.
Cause

Windows Search Service.
Resolution

Stop the Windows Search Service while the PST file search in Recovery Manager for Exchange is occurring and while viewing the results.
Start the Windows Search Service back up afterwards.
