Description
When using import files to populate mailbox collections, the importing performance is very slow.

Cause
The importing process takes place between the Quest Migration Manager console, and the SQL server that is being utilized for storing the Quest Migration Manager database. There are no queries made to domain controllers or global catalog servers during this process.

Resolution
To resolve slowness issues one might want to address any network latency between the QMM console, and the SQL server. The SQL server itself should be reviewed to see if there are any performance problems as well.
