Issue with the Toad Application Server service (Toad Intelligence Central)
Description

When starting the "Toad Application Server (Toad Intelligence Central)" service on the TIC server with a user different from "Local System Account", an error appears in the Event Viewer. This occurs even if that user is part of the Administrators group:

11-08-16 07:35:58: Exception in DoStartInit Access is denied.
Cause

This is caused by the Toad Scheduler service not being able to run under an account other than the default system account.
Resolution

WORKAROUND
Please follow below steps:
1) Open the Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy
2) Select Local Policies | User Rights Assignment
3) Right-click Replace a process level token | Properties
4) Add the user running the Toad Application Server service
5) Logout or reboot the server

RESOLUTION
Issue fixed in the latest version of Toad intelligence Central which can be downloaded from this location.
