How does the Statistics Agent obtain total amount of objects reported per source and target mailboxes?

Resolution
This information is obtained from the mailbox MAPI property "PR_CONTENT_COUNT". The method is the same used by Exchange 2007 and 2003.
You can view a user's content count by the following method with MFCMAPI available from Microsoft here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=55FDFFD7-1878-4637-9808-1E21ABB3AE37&displaylang=en- Logon to the machine with the Quest service account- Run MFCMAPI- Load the quest service account MAPI profile- Select session - logon and display store table- Once this is done, select MDB - Get Mailbox Table, then click okay- Once this opens, in the pane window look for PR_CONTENT_COUNT. -
