When configuring Exchange Server section, getting error: "Unable to connect to Exchange server..." -
Description
Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE) Console is setting up to migrate to Microsoft Exchange 2010
When configuring Edit Default Settings | Exchange Server section, getting error: "Unable to connect to Exchange server, please check server name or network connection." when click on "Apply" button.
From the MNE console, able to ping and resolve the Exchange Client Access Server (CAS) server, and remote powershell is working as well. -
Cause
This is due to the MNE Console server had been installed with Microsoft Outlook 2003.

Resolution
Required for migration to Exchange 2010, Office 365 or Live@edu:
- Outlook 2010 or 2007, which must be set as the default mail client.
- Windows PowerShell 2.0, which is installed by default with Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. For other Windows versions, PowerShell 2.0 is downloadable as part of Windows Management Framework. Please refer to Microsoft KB Article: 968929 - "Windows Management Framework (Windows PowerShell 2.0, WinRM 2.0, and BITS 4.0)"
