Toad.exe Instances stay opened even if scheduled tasks have ended (4324423)

Several tasks are scheduled in Task Scheduler. In the Task Manager, some Toad.exe processes are left open while theoretically they should have finished as the tasks are completed. This consumes resources and forces to kill the processes manually.

RESOLUTION:
1) If running Toad Data Point Windows Server 2008 R2, please make sure that the .NET Framework version installed is at least .NET 4.5.1 as per Toad Data Point system requirements. These requirements can be found inside the Release Notes, through this link.

2) Check this Microsoft KB related to potential random client connection losses on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2. If upgrading the .NET version has not helped, please consider implementing this Microsoft hot fix.
