Description
When searching you receive the error "No such host is known" or "ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed." -
Cause
When performing a search, the webserver makes a connection to the socket defined in "Full Text Search Remoting Location". -
Resolution
Open the Configuration Console
Click Advanced Settings.
Correct the value specified for ""Full Text Search Remoting Location" to reflect the value of the current server running the Full Text Search Service.
Click Apply | Close.
On the server running the Archive Manager web site open a command prompt as administrator and run the following command.
IISRESET
