Is there a way to provide load balancing and redundancy for Coexistence Manager for Notes (CMN)?
Do not want to have CMN as a single point of failure on the network.
For Mail Connector High Availability, see 'Redundant CMN Mail Connectors' in the CMN User Guide (CMNUserGuide.pdf):
In multiple-CMN schemes, the CMN servers can be load-balanced by MX-record priority designations used by the source mail system or a more formal load-balancing mechanism.
For Free/Busy High Availability, see 'CMN Free/Busy Connector | Installation and Configuration | Step 5 | Configure DNS | Configure network load balancing' in the CMN Free Busy Connector Scenarios Guide (CMN_<ver>_FBCScenariosGuide.pdf):
You can use Network Load Balancing to permit multiple web servers to handle Autodiscover requests. This is optional, not required to deploy CMN. For more information, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc962172.aspx.
For more information, please contact your Account Manager about our PSO (Professional Services Organization) to provide a more in depth explanation of the options for providing High Availability within your organization.
As this information is pertaining to Design and Implementation process a Support Engineer will not be able to assist you with this. We would like to direct you to your Account Manager who would be able to place you in contact with a PSO representative.
Quest does not provide support for problems that arise from improper modification of TCP/IP.
