Is there a client/server installation for Toad for Oracle? -
Description
It does not seem to be possible to do a client/server installation of the latest versions of Toad for Oracle (10.x and later) and have the license file held centrally.
The only option available is to enter a UNC path for installation but there’s no “network install” option in the client install to tell it to only install the minimal files locally and use the network share for the executable.This type of install was available with earliest versions (9.7.2 and earlier).

Resolution
The client/server installation method has been removed from versions 10.x.

Unfortunately there is no way to store the licence keys in one centralised location as they are now stored in the user's directory.
To have the user's files location saved to just one location, go to menu View | Toad Options | General and set the folder path in "Application data directory".
