How can I completely uninstall the TOAD DB2 database client if I don't have any other DB2 clients installed on my machine than for Toad?
If no other DB2 clients are installed on machine other than Toads:
1. Uninstall Toad first
2. Then uninstall the db client by running the db2unins.bat to clean up your registry (with option -f) this batch file comes with enterprise DB2 installation package (DB2 v9 fixpack 1) . This only works if you have an Enterprise Edition software installed on your machine and it is recommended that the customer install this uninstall facility from an Enterprise Edition CD.)
3. Remove all Quest and IBM folders on your system.
Note, as of version 3.6, Toad no longer ships with a sandox DB2 client, so if you require Toad Data Point but do not need to connect to DB2, then an upgrade to the latest Toad Data Point is recommended. You can download the latest Toad here.
