NM: Migration of Friendly Name Formatted email addresses (4321653)

Question

When the From field in Notes shows up as ""Test User" <test.user@domain.com>", we are expecting that to come over and show in Outlook as just "Test User". Because Exchange should have recognized this email address as one of its own and just shown the "friendly" name format.

Is that expected behavior?

Notes Migrator is working as designed, this is not a bug or configuration issue. The migration engine looks at the value in the address fields (SendTo, CopyTo, From and BlindCopyTo). If the address is in Friendly Name format ("Test User" <test.user@domain.com>, or other variation), the value is stripped down to the pure SMTP address (test.user@domain.com), and does not include the Friendly From name (Display Name) "Test User" in the migrated target messages.
