Tabs that are usually at the bottom of the editor are not displaying even if they are checked in (4321500)

I am not able to get any of the tabs (Script Output, Watches, Breakpoints, etc) that usually appear at the bottom of the editor to appear, even if their option is checked in the Desktop Panel.

SOLUTION  for Toad version prior to 9.0:

1. Close Toad
2. Go to Toad installation folder: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files
3. RemoveDesktops.xml

SOLUTION for Toad version after Toad 9.0

1. Close Toad
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle Freeware\User Files folder
3. Sort your files by Type, by selecting the Type column
4. Scroll down to LAY file types
5.  Remove the  five EditorLayout*.lay files below:
EditorLayout_Hex.lay
EditorLayout_PLSQL.lay
EditorLayout_SQ.lay
EditorLayout_Text.lay
EditorLayout_XML.lay
6.   Remove the MainFormLayout_default.lay file
7.Reopen Toad
