Public folder(s) were created in the target server in the wrong location. How do I remove them without causing tombstone issues?
Note: Do *NOT* under any circumstances delete any public folders in the target. Before performing this procedure, please review the solutions mentioned below in the Additional Information section.
Please follow the below steps:
Moving the PFs to the recycle bin will eliminate any chance of tombstone issues. In addition, if a public folder that was previously moved to the aelita recycle bin is included back into a collection, it will be found and moved back to the location specified within the job.
The reason for deleting any PUB files that remain is so they will not be processed when you restart the agents. If these files are not deleted, the agent will move the PFs back to the incorrect location and you will need to start all over again.
