Organizing dashboards with custom module folders
Description

To organize and help secure dashboards, one can organize dashboards for specific user groups using custom headings and subheadings.
Resolution
For users with a Cartridge Developer role

Create a custom module folder
1. Go to: Navigation | Configuration | Definitions | Definitions Panel
2. Click the '+' sign (make sure it's the '+' sign on the bottom of the definition pane and not next to the views dropdown)
3. Specify the custom module name.and set the required roles; for example roles Advanced Operator and Operator under both Relevant Roles and Allowed Roles.
Move a dashboard to the new custom module
1. Locate the module on which the existing dashboard resides. Custom dashboards are usually found under My Definitions for the current user or Other User Definitions.
2. Select the dashboard under view panel.
3. Select Copy under the dashboard editor panel to the right of the views panel and then Deep...
4. Select the custom module folder from the target module pop up.
  IMPORTANT: It is not recommended to move custom dashboards to out of the box modules such as Databases or Infrastructure as the cartridges could be reset during an upgrade and the custom dashboards will be lost.
Note: For drag-and-drop dashboards to appear, select Operator under the 'relevant' role for the dashboard to appear for others with this role.
