vCenter audit issue -
Description
When attempting to audit vCenter using InTrust you see the following error:
Object Name: HOSTNAME
Data Source: VMware vCenter events
Description: Failed to collect event log. ADC Error: Cannot connect to the specified event log. (uncaught exception: Error: Name: native. Virtualization Server is: . Description: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.) -
Cause
Not all packages are part of the download package nor installed by default, even during an upgrade where the previous versions had been installed. This change was made to streamline the download and install process for the most common use cases.

Resolution
Download and install the "Knowledge Pack for VMWare" using the "Knowledge Packs" tab on the "Quest InTrust" application (installation file from download package).
