Archive Manager Retention Policy Editor displays the following error when trying to login, although the user is an administrator in Archive Manager: "User is not authorised to login"
DNS entries for the Archive Manager website are correctly configured and the user can login to the Archive Manager website on the machine where the client is installed.

Resolution
Ensure that the Archive Manager website is using ASP.NET version 2.0.50727.In IIS, right-click the Archive Manager website and select properties. On the ASP.NET tab, ensure that the "ASP.Net version:" drop-down box reads: "2.0.50727". -
