Slow Spotlight client performance when hundreds of connections are monitored in Federation -
Description
The Spotlight Client experiences performance slowness when monitoring hundreds of connections in a federated environment. In an environment monitoring 800+ connections with 3 Diagnostic Servers, performance issues can be seen as per below:
1) The Spotlight Client takes a lot of time to launch
2) Trying to analyse an issue takes a long time as the client takes a lot of time to load in details -
Cause
This issue is caused by a performance issue with federated environments. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
A patch may be available depending on the version of Spotlight Enterprise used. Please contact Technical Support through this link.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future version of Spotlight Enterprise. -
