Description

When trying to install Spotlight on Messaging and the Database server is not using the default port you will get a error like the one below.
Could not connect to the SQL Server specified. The following error was returned:
Error code = -2147467259
Error message = Unspecified error
Error source = Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Error description = [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Cause

The port was not specified with in the installer field.
Resolution

When the Spotlight on Messaging installer asks you for the SQL server name put in the Servers Netbios name then comma and the port it is using. (ie: SQLSERVER,1439)
