There are messages that are missing from the Mailbox Sent Audit reports
If a users Exchange DN changed while Mailbox Auditing for that user is enabled, the MessageStats will not gather all of the users Messages.
With in the Mailbox auditing configuration, remove and re add the user and re run the Exchange Tracking log gathering and it will gather all the messages.
There has also been an Enhancement request created to update the Mailbox Audit table every time the Tracking log gathering runs so this will not be a factor. TFS#155975
