In older versions of QSR, I was able to paste a script such as :
connect scott/tiger select * from dual;
,
and click on execute and I wouldn't be prompted with a connection dialogue box. In the new version 10.5.2.3 that comes with Toad for Oracle 10.5.1.3, I am required to login to the database.
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Enter the statement you want to run in Toad and then select ‘Execute SQL via QSR' to run it in QSR.
