How to obtain a new license key for version 7, when upgrading from version 5.x or 6.x.

IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading to Secure Copy 7.0 from a previous version, you must obtain a new license key prior to installing the new version.

Either a trial or full license to use Secure Copy is needed.  If you have questions about your license, contact your sales representative.

To obtain a new license key, follow the steps below:

1. Launch the Secure Copy 5.x or 6.x console.
2. Go to Help | License | Apply License
3. Copy the license key that displays.
4. Go to the Licensing Assistance page.
5. Fill out the form.
6. Paste the license key into the License Key field.
7. Click Submit.  A Quest Software License Representative will contact you within one business day.
