The most probable cause is that the Spotlight process of the operative system has not finished yet to index all the Applications folder.
To determine if the cause is due to the Spotlight process of the system that has not completed to index the whole content of your hard drive yet, perform the steps listed below::
If you are not able to find the software in that view it means that the Spotlight process has not indexed it yet: wait some time and try to repeat the process until the application appears under the Software -> Installations section of the System information.
If you want to force the re-index of a specific folder you can follow this Apple KB article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2409
After the application appears in the view, force an inventory on the Mac device and check the K1000 inventory of the device under Software -> Installed Programs.
If the application appears in the System Information but not on the K1000 inventory even after couple of "Force inventory", Contact KACE Technical Support.
