NM: Discrepancy in migration log regarding skipped items in the finally summary report (4317217)

Issue

According to the log summary there are 6,881 skipped items but when you review the total summary below this, it displays a total of 0. Why are these different?

Solution

In the final Summary count, Duplicate items are not reported under the skipped category. In order for a document to be a duplicate it must have been processed elsewhere during the migration. so the duplicate items have already been counted in the migrated count. Since there were no other non-duplicate skip reasons, the Summary Skipped total is 0.
