As long as mail files are migrated through Domino servers (and not the file system), migrations from environments with DAOS are handled by migration tool transparently.
However, it has been observed that DAOS tends to slow down the migration speed. If this is critical, consider bringing all the attachments out of DAOS and back into users' mailboxes.
