Resolution
Issues
Legacy Domino Servers may have a bug when processing iCAL messages delivered from another Domino Server in a different Domino Domain using Notes Routing. When such delivery occurs, a field FromDomain is added to a document, which, when present, interferes with the Domino Router's ability to properly process resources.
Solution
If the document is trapped prior to being processed by the Domino Router and remove the field, the Domino Router processes the room or resource reservation without issue.
If Rooms and Resource is on a server running on 6.5.x in a different domain than the Domino Coexistence server then the issue occurs because the Domino Server 6.5.x has a bug processing iCAL messages delivered from another Domino Server in a different Domino Domain using Notes Routing.
To resolve the issue, it is recommended to either upgrade your existing server that the Rooms and Resources resides on to Domino 7.x or higher or to move the resource.nsf to another server running a version of Domino 7.x or higher. Also ensure that the latest template has been applied.
