"Inactive Agent Selected" error message is displayed when attempting to administer a database agent -
Description
When attempting to change the settings of a particular monitored database (DB) by selecting the DB and clicking the "Administer Agent" within the Databases dashboard, the following error appears:
"Inactive Agent Selected: One or more of the selected agents is currently inactive or not collecting data. Note: Global Administration functionality is available only when administering agents that are active and collecting data. To access Global Administration, click Cancel and clear the selection of the inactive agents."

Cause
The agent that is collecting the data for this DB is currently inactive.

Resolution
Ensure the agent related to this DB is active (green) and collecting data. You can verify this by navigating to Administration=>Agents=>Agent Status. If the agent is not active, click the "Activate" button.
