Toad Data Modeler Error “Script RESettingsDBOR12 Has Not Been Found” When Opening Models
Description
When opening a model in Toad Data Modeler while another model is already open, the following error appears:
Script RESettingsDBOR12 has not been found
Observed behavior:
The model fails to open unless it is the first model loaded after starting the application
The application must be restarted to successfully open the affected model
Reopening the same model after closing Toad works only if no other model is already loaded
Cause
The issue is caused by corrupted or invalid configuration entries in the ModelManager node within the model file. These entries may reference missing scripts or aliases (such as RESettingsDBOR12), which prevents the model from loading correctly when multiple models are open.
Resolution
Manually remove or correct the problematic ModelManager entries.
Steps:
Close Toad Data Modeler.
Locate the affected model file.
Create a backup copy of the model file.
Open the model file in a text or XML editor.
Locate the ModelManager node.
Remove or clean up the entries related to the missing script (for example, references to RESettingsDBOR12).
Save the file.
Reopen Toad Data Modeler.
Open the model and verify that it loads correctly alongside other open models.
