How to copy Toad user settings to a newer version? (4314280)

Keep in mind, Toad for Oracle will migrate automatically only the settings from two versions behind.

Please follow the below steps:

1. Open older version of Toad for Oracle, main menu | Utilities | Copy User Settings | Export  | Select the location where Toad is going to create the .zip file with all the connections, settings, SQL history, templates, etc.

1.2.  This process may take a couple of minutes, once Toad has finished, Close Toad for Oracle.

2. Open the newer version of Toad for Oracle, main menu | Utilities | Copy User Settings | Import  | Select the location from  where Toad is going to read the zip file

2.1 This process may take a few minutes, once Toad has finished, it will restart automatically.

2.2 Once Toad has restarted, it will be ready with the imported settings applied.
