Deleted logical drives appearing for a Virtual Machine -
Description
A Virtual Machine (VM) is alerting on disk space issues with its W & X drives. However, when logging onto the VM, it does not have a W or X drive. When looking in the Data Management dashboard, real time data is still being collected for these drives. -
Resolution
As data is still being updated within Foglight (the data is being updated within the Data Management dashboard), it is advised to navigate the respective VMware VC MOB (Managed Object Browser) to confirm if this specific data is still being recorded within the VMware vSphere environment (Reference doc).
If the drives are there (in this case, W & X), then this is an issue with the VMware environment, rather than with Foglight.
