Unable to see table data when inserted in to a Global Temporary Table after Toad session is ended (4312592)

After closing a Toad session, I am unable to see data I'd imported into a Global Temporary Table I'd created. I created the table using the option 'ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS' so expect to see the rows after I logged back in.

This is the expected result when adding data to a Global Temporary Table. From the Oracle documentation, 'ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS' means that the data is preserved until the end of the SESSION, whereas 'ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS' means delete rows at the end of a particular TRANSACTION.

Data created in one session in a Global Temporary Table, cannot be viewed by another session, and is deleted when the session is closed.
