Get "Ora-01301: Insufficient Privileges" error when running LogMiner
Description
Get "ORA-01031: Insufficient privleges" error when clicking on the green arrow button (Show Data in Mined Files) when running LogMiner. Provided the user has all privileges specified in the Help, but the error still occurs. Running LogMiner in Toad 9.7.2 using the same user, does not fail.
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
Grant the user DBA Role.
WORKAROUND 2
Use Toad for Oracle 9.7.2.
(An installer for this version can be requested by creating a service request, which can be done here.)
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
