No option to search a mailbox in ArchiveWeb, Assigning mailbox rights for searches and browsing in Mailbox Rights Manager (4311443)

Need to search a mailbox archive in ArchiveWeb, however the mailbox is not available to select

Mailbox rights to search mailboxes other than the primary mailbox of the logged in user must be assigned using Mailbox Rights Manager in the Metalogix Archive Manager console

1. On the Archive Server, open the Metalogix Archive Manager for Exchange console.
2. Click Tools > Mailbox Rights Manager.

   

3. Right-click on the user you wish to assign access to and select Properties. NOTE: Multiple users can be selected by holding down the CTRL key or by using Shift. Mailbox rights can be assigned to multiple mailboxes at once, however they can only be removed individually.

   

4. On the Properties window, click Add on the Mailbox Security tab, select the user/s you wish to have access to search the mailbox and click the down arrow button to place the user/s in the Selected Objects box.

   

5. Click OK and the mailbox user you assigned should now appear in the Mailbox Security tab.

   

6. Open ArchiveWeb and log in using the mailbox account you will be searching from. You should now be able to select the assigned mailbox from the Mailboxes tab in ArchiveWeb Search.
